Our school had a "computer users student organization" that would meet during lunch time, but all we did was play Doom II on the school's LAN. Up to 16 people in deathmatch! So we nicknamed it the "Doom student organization".

Many of us still play Doom II online for free using Zdaemon.
I personally support transit workers' right to strike, but like kids on the Internets would say, "ur doin it wrong". The biggest error they made was in striking with only 30 minute notice on Friday at midnight. Women and elderly people were left stranded across the city at night with no ride to come back home late Friday night. "We're serious about your safety." Suuuuuurrre.

They said that the reason they didn't give 48-hour notice was to avoid TTC staff getting abused and heckled by riders in those last two days. But guess what, now people will be 100 times more pissed off and abusive! Torontonians are pissed off and vandalizing TTC property.

I feel like walking around in the street wearing a TTC uniform to see what kind of abuse people would hurl at me. Make a documentary. ;)

More news: http://torontoist.com/2008/04/ttc_strike_resources.php
