While [info]shigil came to contemplate the Japanese cherry blossoms, I made friends with the animals.

The Highland cattle are so cute and shaggy.

When I saw the American bison, I made a signal to say hi, and one of the larger ones immediately walked towards the fence to bond with me. (I seem to have a natural affinity with many animals, like I can speak their language.)

There were also emus and yaks.

They have a small "zoo" area with some enclosed animals. Mostly domestic catle, goats and birds, but there are a few wild species too.

Those are the awesomest cows I have ever seen. The one in the top picture seems about to say "dude . . . uh, what?"
