TWO! Two antidipressants, ah ah!
LOL! Thanks for brightening my evening!! :)
I know they're not, but it sounds like they're swopping anti-d's at first, then they combine them in that report, or am I just reading it wrong?
I've already known about combining anti-d's for some time. =P *all smug* I've been mixing Tramadol with Citalopram for awhile, and it works great.
I wonder why no doctors ever thought of this before? They all seem to think 1 drug=1 cure!
That just goes to show you, you never know what's the best treatment for somebody without experimentation. :)
thanks for the useful information..
Celexa is a pretty affective drug by its self. I was on that for about a year and a half. It was used as an anti-depressent for me. I was also on another type of anti-depressent, but that was suppose to help with my sleeping. It didn't, so I got switch to...*thinking* Remeron, I think it might have been, for my sleeping. I can't really remember. But that didn't help. So I went off help for my sleeping and was just on the Celexa for the anti-depressent. It worked very well. I've been off it since maybe July or August of last year. It's hard some times, and I want to go back on it. But it did help me to see the better side, and I try to remain focused on that. A bad thing about it was when I was being weened(sp?) off of it. The withdrawl was bad some times. Made me light headed and dizzy, weak and responded a little slower to things, and I would take a pill just to get rid of that feeling. What all this rambling is to say, is that I found Celexa to be a good, effective drug all by its self.
Cool, yeah I'm on Celexa too. I managed to lower my dosage from 30 to 25 mg in the last week without too many problems.
That's good for you. I had found that when it was time for me to lower the dosage I didn't have too many problems. It was when I stopped taking it totally that I felt dizzy and weak and such. But still, lowering is a good thing. Means you don't need as much, which means it's helping, like it should. Hang in there, it will get better, even without the drug, when that time comes.
