Computer update: I ran Ultimate Boot CD to try to fix the MBR on my Windows hard drive and was able to boot to it somehow off some menu in the BIOS only. I can't boot to Ubuntu anymore! Strange.
Must fix moars. |

They should invent something you can leave your eyeglasses in overnight, and they're all perfect and clean in the morning, without having to wash them by hand.
Also, can anyone recommend a good brand/make of deodorant? I've been using various kinds over the years but have yet to find something I really like. I want one that is healthy to use, unscented, safe on clothes, and effective in reducing scent.
I'm also open to various alternatives IF they actually work. I've never tried those crystal mineral salt thingies, for example.
Lastly, what's the best quality clicky pencil out there? I keep buying cheap ones, and they always fall apart, leads break or whatever. As part of my study gear, I need a clicky pencil to be proud of. |

| Neither hard drive will boot |

I'm going to need to hire some sort of Ubuntu and WinXP boot specialist to come over and fix0r my computer. Now neither the Ubuntu nor the Win XP hard drives will boot properly. I am lucky there is a F11 option on my motherboard, which has an option of booting the Windows one.
So I'm in Windows now, through a special way I found, but not the normal way. And I can't enter Ubuntu anymore.
The Ultimate Boot CD didn't really help in trying to fix the MBR (if that was indeed the problem).
Can you recommend anyone in Toronto I can call? Please give their name and number. |
